About the Project

The Architect of the Capitol is the builder and steward of the landmark buildings and grounds of Capitol Hill. The entrusted staff preserves and maintains the historic buildings, monuments, art and inspirational gardens on the Capitol campus.

 

As the lead graphic designer, it was my responsibility to kick-start a fresh rebrand that would give the agency a distinct, positive personality. Elements unique to the historic buildings found throughout the campus, including  decorative patterns and architectural details, can be found incorporated into the new brand. Agency-wide internal and external communication materials including, annual reports, brochures and infographics; web-based user interfaces; multi-year print and web project campaigns including, logos, newsletters, stationery, posters and white papers, to name a few, were created.
